Tramadol.

Tramadol can be recommended by your doctor if you have pain. It works by changing the way your body senses pain. In case you are allergic to tramadol or any other medications used for the treatment of pain or cough (propoxyphene, hydromorphone, morphine, hydrocodone, meperidine, codeine etc) – do not take tramadol, as an allergic reaction can happen once again. Do not take tramadol for longer than recommended, as an addiction may form. If you have an addiction it may be hard for you to stop taking tramadol without getting withdrawal symptoms – such as nausea, burning or tingling in your hands or feet, diarrhea, numbness, nervousness, sneezing, hallucinations, cough, sweating, chills, difficulty falling asleep, and panic. Talk to your doctor about stopping your treatment gradually or make sure you reduce the dose every 3-4 days. Tramadol can cause some side effects that may range from mild to severe. The following mild side effects are sometimes possible: weakness, headache, itching, sweating, drowsiness, changes in mood, sleepiness, indigestion, nausea, chills, diarrhea, dry mouth, heartburn, vomiting, dizziness, constipation, agitation, and nervousness.
